South Worden lies approximately 2 miles from the main A388 crossroad's (called Venn green) in Milton Damerel. This is the main road between Bideford and Holsworthy.
From Venngreen crossroad's leave the main road heading towards Bradworthy, East and West Putford. Continue along this typical devon lane to the very end (approx. 1 mile long). At the end of this lane is another crossroad's called Five Lanes Cross.
Turn left still heading towards Bradworthy, East & West Putford, after approximately 600 metres the lane bends sharply to the right. When you come around this bend you will find a small turning on the right signposted, Chollaton, Bulkworthy and Haytown.
Turn right and South Worden is just down this lane on the left hand side. |
